We recognise that our success goes beyond being a specialist personal injury law firm offering services to our clients. We have a responsibility to society at large.
At Asons, we endeavour to provide an enjoyable and pleasant working environment for our team members – and these standards are reflected in our approach towards clients. Our success has been recognised through the achievement of the ‘Investors in People’ Gold award, and The Best Companies award.
We know that how we work and operate can have an impact on both our community and the wider environment. We are currently working on a formal Corporate Social Responsibility Policy which will detail our core values in relation to our clients, team, community, and the environment.
In many traditional law firms, fee earners and legal executives depend upon filing cabinets, paper systems, and sometimes mounds of paper to track their files, and to progress their cases.
In our bid to break the mould, and to drive efficiency, we’ve become a paperless office. The vast majority of our work is handled by our own in-house electronic filing system – Proclaim – which enables us to easily track case files, without the need for extensive paper files, or physical records.
Not only does this improve efficiency, it’s great for the environment too!
Our graduate scheme continuously grows alongside our large expansion plans. We recognise the potential of recent graduates and welcome them to our team to continue their personal growth and celebrate their achievements. We aim to integrate high caliber graduates into our friendly and welcoming environment, which teaches them the value of hard work and team play. All of our staff are very supportive, and aim to provide the training needed to achieve both short and long term goals.
We continuously fundraise for both local and national charities. Our staff regularly strive to make a difference, whether it is by dressing up, baking cakes, or running a marathon. Recent charitable causes have included – Movember, Children in Need, Red Nose Day, as well as fundraising activities for Bolton Hospice.
Asons are proud to be a Platinum member of Bolton Hospice’s Patron Scheme. As members, Asons are committed to helping and supporting the charity, helping them to achieve their annual fundraising targets, allowing them to continue in providing the local service which is of tremendous importance.
Asons recently organised their annual summer ball, using the Arabian Nights themed event to raise over £1,000 for Bolton Hospice, in addition to regular internal fund raising events such as Bake-a-thons and the Chilli Challenge for worthy, local causes that support our community.
Asons have recently committed to supporting another of Bolton’s established charities, Urban Outreach. Helping to feed the hungry and vulnerable, Urban Outreach aims to make a lasting difference to the people, and families of Bolton, a goal Asons are committed to supporting.
As a Bolton-based business, Asons are continuously looking to support causes which help develop our community, meeting the needs of its residents, in ways that support positive change and prosperity.
Raising awareness for men’s health issues is no easy challenge – yet that’s what Movember aims to take on. Now, a familiar sight across many work places in November, men grow mos to raise money, and awareness, for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer.
Asons have been proud to support this charity in the past and will be going one step further this year, with a ‘mo-run’ – a 10k run in ‘stache inspired fancy dress!
Sport plays an essential role in sustainable, growing communities, and Asons isn’t one to undervalue the positive impact sport can have on young people, and the wider community. Our philosophy of investing in and providing development opportunities for our people is echoed in our work with local sport.
Asons are proud to be principal sponsors for Bolton School’s Cricket Team. Signing a three year deal this past April, our partnership with the prestigious school will provide uniform and equipment, helping them to maintain the same level of success.
Inspired by the success of this year’s team, Asons 1st Cricket match took place earlier this year, at Bolton School’s Cricket field – while still far and away from any national recognition, the teams certainly had fun.
In a bid to support local sport within Bolton, Asons have signed an agreement to be principal shirt sponsors for the Under 16’s squad of Bolton RUFC. A fast growing club, Asons are proud to support their growth, and the increasing success for the club, players, and families.
Asons is a family law firm, with plans to work increasingly with the local community, charities, and become involved with worthy causes which help and support families in and around Bolton.
Asons were privileged to be a part of honouring one of Bolton’s most respected athletes this past summer, with the unveiling of the new statue honouring Nat Lofthouse. In a joint sponsorship deal, Asons were proud to be offered the opportunity to be a part of the project to commemorate a player who means so much to the people of Bolton.
The 9ft bronze statue was unveiled at the Reebok stadium, prior to their match against QPR.
As well as sponsoring the unveiling, Asons Solicitors have also become a club sponsor, taking out an executive box and stadium advertising for the season. As a club, Bolton Wanderers carries a huge local significance, and as a large local firm, Asons are pleased to be associated with their work and success, as we continue to grow and encourage local people to join us as we expand.
